ERAU adjusts cost annually based on a fiscal schedule that begins July 1. This letter provides an update to the hourly rates previously reported.

Pursuant to the clarification of requirement to identify specific required training time and mandatory fees, the FAWs state an IHL is free to choose any amount of training within limits of what is "generally accepted as necessary to fulfill requirements for the attainment of a predetermined and identified education, professional, or vocational objective."

Within the ERAU FAA-approved Training Course Outlines, the minimum hours for the flight train course are as follows:

Also required is the cost per hour for each resource. Resource rates are available to all flight students via a report generated on demand through ETA, the flight management system. The resource rates are also subject to change every fiscal year. The resource rates apply to all students regardless of their VA status. Resource rates labeled as "dual" include the instructor hourly rates. Resource Rates below include cost of resource, instruction, and fuel as applicable.
