Dr. Douglas Isenberg
Associate Professor, Mechanical Engineering
Dr. Isenberg completed his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. His interests are in the areas of robot control, space robotics, system theory and the application of quaternions to problems in dynamics and control. Some of his current research activities include the investigation of a force-feedback manipulation approach to recreating free-floating space robot dynamics, the development of quaternion attitude dynamics and non-linear control methods, and the development of on-orbit space robot manipulation control systems. In addition, Dr. Isenberg has been involved in several projects related to the development of systems for high-altitude gondolas.

Dr. Joel Schipper
Associate Professor, Electrical Engineering
Dr. Schipper completed his Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Florida. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Loyola Marymount University. Dr. Schipper has been working with the Florida Poison Information Center to develop a knowledge-based system to aid in the timely diagnosis of exposures to unknown toxins.

Dr. Mehran Andalibi
Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering
Dr. Andalibi completed his Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Oklahoma. His research interests are in the areas of dynamics, controls, machine vision and robotics.
