Embry-Riddle Prescott's College of Business, Security and Intelligence (CBSI) represents the first comprehensive degree-granting college of its kind in the United States. Alan Saquella
What does it take to build a successful career in physical security? Thanks to professors like Alan Saquella, students in Prescott’s College of Business, Security and Intelligence (CBSI) have all (or at least most) of the answers by the time they graduate.
A former polygraph examiner and the 16-year Director of Security and Investigations at Cox Communications, Saquella has a wealth of knowledge that he loves to share with Embry-Riddle students. His expertise ranges from investigating corporate crimes like embezzlement to designing complex and effective security systems for corporate buildings.

Dr. Thomas Drape, Ph.D.
Tom Drape, Ph.D., earned a bilingual doctorate with honors from IESE Business School in Barcelona (Spain) and taught at the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies in Garmisch-Partenkirchen (Germany).
Dr. Thomas Drape, Ph.D.
Dr. Drape is a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force working as a program manager and procurement specialist on multi-million dollar aerospace projects leading to Level III Program Management and Level 1 Multinational Program Management Certification. His academic administrative experience includes U.S. Air Force Academy Chair and Deputy Director for the Program in Advanced Security Studies at the Marshall Center, Director for the Embry-Riddle School of Business, Chair of the MBA and Graduate Business Programs in the School of Business at Azusa Pacific University and Deputy Department Head for Operations in the Department of Management at the U.S. Air Force Academy. In addition to his Ph.D., Dr. Drape earned an MBA from the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Science in Management from the U.S. Air Force Academy. He has held faculty appointments at five academic institutions and has led academic study abroad programs on four continents and fifteen countries including Turkey, China, India, Japan, S. Korea, El Salvador, Uruguay, Bolivia, France and Italy.

Bachelor of Science in Global Business and Supply Chain Management
The Bachelor of Science in Global Business and Supply Chain Management program is designed to prepare students with the knowledge of the global context of business with the understanding and critical skills in global logistics and supply chain management. The program is designed for certificate opportunities in supply chain, program management and six sigma providing graduates with the tools to immediately take leadership roles as a global logistics and supply chain manager in the aviation and non-aviation business, government and not-for-profit sectors. Through a challenging, experiential and team-based curriculum, the courses are taught by internationally-experienced faculty focused on the rising role of emerging markets and the complexity of global supply chain issues. Emphasis is placed on technological change, the interdisciplinary nature of supply chain management, the growing importance of the security of the supply chain and the choice of regional studies, language or study abroad options.
