Virtual Commencement Ceremonies
Saturday, December 12, 2020
Due to the current impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Embry-Riddle Prescott campus will host Virtual Commencement ceremonies honoring all of the 2020 Spring, Summer and Fall graduates. For the safety of our graduates and their families, there will be no in-person participation. Ceremonies will be presented virtually on December 12th. Each graduate will be individually recognized during the events. We look forward to celebrating our students and their accomplishments.
Additional Virtual Commencement information can be found on our Frequently Asked Question page.
We will continue to monitor the CDC and government guidelines and will update the Graduation website page as the decisions regarding Spring 2021 ceremony are finalized. If an in-person ceremony can safely be held in Spring 2021, graduates from the Class of 2020 will be invited to participate.
All students are encouraged to order a cap and gown. The ordering site for your Fall graduation items from Herff-Jones is now live. Please visit herff.ly/erauprescott to order. HJ will also host a ‘virtual grad fair’ on October 1 from 10 AM EST – 10 PM EST that will allow students to order discounted grad packs on this day only!
All orders are shipped to the address provided and HJ is providing free shipping. Deadline for orders is November 1.
NOTE: You will be asked to submit a photo for the Virtual Graduation. If you want to wear your cap and gown for that photo, order ASAP and have it sent to your Prescott address. Those photo submissions will be due by November 15.
Masters Degree Graduates
Masters hoods are required for the hooding during the graduation ceremony, and your hood will be included as part of your regalia package.
Graduation Announcements and Invitations
A non-refundable graduation fee of $100.00 is charged to the student's account 8 - 12 weeks prior to graduation. The graduation fee covers staffing, diploma costs, as well as processing and mailing fees.
