The Eagle MakerSpace on the Prescott Campus is a lab and workshop space for Embry-Riddle students of any major to work on projects that are solely nonacademic. As MakerSpace members, students are free to express their creative ideas, innovate new projects and expand their skillsets with access to dozens of tools and materials.

The Eagle MakerSpace Club was founded in 2014 and operates under the College of Engineering. Projects constructed in the MakerSpace have included remote control airplanes, 3D printed models, artwork, rockets, woodwork pieces, clothing, vinyl appliques and much more.

Students must be trained on the tools they plan to use, complete AXFAB safety training and pay a nominal membership fee each semester. The lab is monitored by volunteer club members and students work together to keep the space clean, safe and accessible.
