Major Barry De Iulio is the Director of Operations and Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies for Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) Detachment 028, at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Prescott, Arizona.
Major De Iulio was commissioned as a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Tyler. He has served in numerous positions at the squadron, wing and MAJCOM levels. Major De Iulio has deployed in support of operations ENDURING FREEDOM an INHERENT RESOLVE.
Prior to his current position, Maj De Iulio served as the Director of Operations, 704 Munitions Support Squadron, Ghedi Air Base (AB), Italy. As the Director of Operations, Major De Iulio led 161 personnel across 27 Air Force Specialties in executing European Command (EUCOM) and North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) operations. He oversaw operations for custody, maintenance, Nuclear Command and Control and use-control of a $6.1B War Reserve stockpile of Protection Level 1 assets.
