He has published nearly 100 reports and articles on environmental issues and provides expert commentary to the national media in cases like the U.S. Air Flight 1549 bird strike encounter in January 2009. He is president of Biozone, Inc., an environmental and ecological consulting company.

Safety is a major concern in the workplace and so is the need to understand employee behavior. This program will help you recognize why employees make certain decisions in the workplace, how to help them be more safe, and explore systems that can compensate for human behavior. The Industrial Psychology and Safety program will provide you a unique blend of both theory and practice, focused on understanding human behavior, with the skills and knowledge for a career in human resources, aviation, or occupational safety or organizational training.
The Interdisciplinary Studies (BSIS) program combines the strengths of Embry-Riddle's respected position in the aviation and aerospace industry with the freedom to adapt to the changing future of the job market. The Space Physics (BSSP) degree program emphasizes astrophysics, astroparticle physics, exotic propulsion, and general relativity. The theme of this program is the study of forces, space and time at their most fundamental level and exploring problems of current interest in space physics. The Prescott Campus offers the only undergraduate Environmental Science degree in North America with an aviation and aerospace focus.
