The Embry-Riddle Prescott Campus Safety & Security Department works with students, parents, employees and the community to provide a safe and secure educational environment.

The Campus Safety & Security Department is located near the center of campus in Building 14 and provides safety, security and emergency response services on campus. The office is always staffed by a Communications Dispatcher, while Safety and Security Officers patrol the residence halls, academic buildings, campus grounds and parking lots. Within Building 14, we can assist with parking permit issues, temporary parking permits, and lost and found. Though parking permits are purchased online, we can also help with temporary passes for guests coming to visit the campus.

The Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Prescott Campus has 28 Blue Light Phones across campus to allow students and visitors to quickly summon assistance. A general information button rings directly to the Campus Safety & Security non-emergency number, while a red button rings directly to the emergency line. Pressing the red emergency button sets off a blue light strobe that alerts bystanders that someone has called for emergency assistance while helping officers quickly locate the person needing assistance.

The university complies with the federally mandated Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Police and Campus Statistics Act, and maintains a three-year compilation of annual crime statistics. A copy of the annual report submitted to the U.S. Department of Education is available in the Campus Safety & Security Office.
