There are many possibilities beyond becoming a pilot for those that aspire to a career in aviation. Interested students can excel in the innovative, hands-on programs housed in the Department of Applied Aviation Sciences at Embry-Riddle’s Prescott Campus.
Offering a Bachelors of Science in Aeronautics, Bachelors of Science in Air Traffic Management (ATM), Bachelors of Science in Applied Meteorology (BSAM), and a Bachelors of Science in Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), the Department of Applied Aviation Sciences provides students the opportunity to join the aviation profession by focusing on non-flight specific programs. Students will use state-of-the-art, computer-equipped classrooms including the Weather Center, the Air Traffic Control Lab, and the UAS Simulations Lab to test their theories and decision making skills with techniques and processes that parallel the industries.
