At Embry-Riddle, diversity soars. The Prescott campus is home to students from around the world, with a broad variety of backgrounds and experiences. The Women’s and Diversity Center at Embry-Riddle Prescott celebrates the unique characteristics that make of us who we are, and advocates for various groups that together, make up the Riddle culture.
We offer support and resources for the diverse groups on campus, including women, students of color, LGBTQ, religiously diverse, and persons with disabilities. Some of the events we host include women’s leadership activities, diversity dinners, cookouts, theme months, and volunteer opportunities.
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 ("Title IX”) is a Federal civil rights law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in education programs and activities. All public and private elementary and secondary schools, school districts, colleges, and universities receiving any Federal funds must comply with Title IX. Discrimination can include sexual harassment or sexual violence, such as rape, sexual assault, sexual misconduct, sexual battery, sexual coercion, and stalking.
