The primary use of the Advanced Computing and Simulations Lab (ACSL) is to support special projects and research activities for students with high-performance computing resources they will need to perform various simulation-based analyses and designs.

The main ACSL facility includes multiple high-performance workstations and servers to support Windows and Linux applications for advanced computer simulations.  The facility also supports ERAU's official national student competition teams, such as: American Institute for Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) Design Build Fly (DBF) Team, Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) AeroDesign Team, and Formula Racing Team.

Equipment

  • Windows High-Performance Workstations with Graphic Rendering Capabilities
  • Multi-Purpose Linux Servers with Networked Data Storage Units
  • Uninterrupted Power Supply Unit and Independent A/C
