Technical Sergeant Jaren W. Kirkendoll

Technical Sergeant Jaren W. Kirkendoll is the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) of Personnel for the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) Detachment 028, at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Prescott, Arizona. He is responsible for managing several areas of administrative support for the detachment, to include coordination with United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine and Headquarters Air Force Personnel Center in support of career progression for Air Force Officer Candidates.

Sergeant Kirkendoll joined the Air Force in June 2014. After graduation of Basic Military Training, he continued on to complete the Personnel Apprentice Course in October 2014 at Keesler Air Force Base (AFB), Mississippi. His military career began as a Personnelist with the 72nd Force Support Squadron at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma. He started with the Force Management Element, working in the evaluations and adverse actions office where he handled both Enlisted and Officer evaluations and adverse actions for the base. He then transitioned to the 836^thCyberspace Operations Squadron where he became the Non-commissioned Officer in Charge of the Commander Support Staff. His responsibilities included the effective management of over 60 commander-directed programs and directly supported over 4 Cyberspace missions both stateside and overseas. His extensive work and leadership as the NCOIC have led to recognition such as Commander Support Staff of the Quarter, Professional Team Award, and the General Harold M. McClelland Unit of the Year Award.
