Meet the Staff of the Prescott Campus Housing and Residence Life Team

There are many people interested in your development, both as an individual and as a community member.

The Residence Hall staff includes numerous professional and student staff members to enhance your on campus living experience. The driving goal of our staff is to provide a living/learning environment that encourages academic achievement and assists students in their growth outside the classroom. The Housing and Residence Life office is located in Haas Commons (Building 73) and the main phone number is 928-777-3744. Our fax number is 928-777-6644.

In-hall staff

The Residence Halls are staffed by Area Coordinators (ACs) and Resident Assistants (RAs). The ACs are full-time professional staff that reside in the residence halls and oversee a group of residence halls, including RA supervision. The AC assists in the development of community in the halls and are there to assist with any needs that may arise during the academic year. Among other duties, ACs are on call on a rotating schedule, meet with students about concerns and relay pertinent information back to the central office. Contact your AC if you have any concerns or questions.

The RA's primary role is to support residents on their floors. RAs are undergraduate students who have at least one year of experience living in the residence halls. They have gone through extensive training to prepare them to be educators and leaders in their role. RAs are in the halls to help keep students informed about events on campus, to be a resource and to help maintain an effective living/learning environment. RA recruitment begins in the late fall and early spring for the following academic year. If you are interested, keep an eye out for advertisements and attend an information session.
