AII All Conference Honors

Congratulations goes out to 5 of our very own Lady Eagles who were named to the 1st and 2nd Team A.I.I. All-conference for the 2011 season.  Juniors Kayla Billings and Kelsey Anderson, along with Redshirt-Freshman Carissa Frazier, all earned a spot on the 1st Team, while juniors Ciarra Pederson and Whitney Desmarais were awarded 2nd Team honors.  This is Ciarra's second time being named all-conference, while it's a first time accomplishment for the other ladies.  To see the A.I.I. official announcement, as well as the complete All-Conference award winners, follow the link below.

DAKTRONICS-NAIA SCHOLAR-ATHLETE ROSTER INCLUDES FIVE LADY EAGLES

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced that 487 women's soccer student-athletes have been named 2011 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.  Included in amongst these students-athletes recognized for their academic achievement, are 5 of our very own Lady Eagles.  Garnering the award for the 2nd consecutive year, was Senior Lindsay Cowgill.  Joining her as 1st time recipients of the award were Juniors Kayla Billings, Whitney Desmarais, Marissa Golesh, and Ciarra Pederson.  Congratulations to you all!   Student-athletes are nominated by their institution's head coach and must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status in order qualify for the honor.  To view the entire list of 2011 Daktronics-NAIA Women's Soccer Scholar-Athletes, click here.
