The Eagle Unity Award is for the organization that has conducted a program with the intent to bring people together or educate people from diverse backgrounds. On Saturday, April 14, 2018, the Center for International Programs and Services (CIPS) at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Prescott campus, in partnership with Housing and Residence Life, was awarded the prestigious Eagle Unity Award at the annual ERAU Leadership Awards Banquet. The Eagle Unity Award is presented to the organization that has constructed a program with the intent to bring people together, or educate people from diverse backgrounds.

The International House, or iHouse for short, is a themed living community for domestic and foreign students interested in gaining a broader perspective and deeper understanding of multicultural worldviews. iHouse, in affiliation with CIPS, provides Embry-Riddle with a proactive, student-centered approach in support of internationalization and diversity in our institution. CIPS supports international admissions and recruiting, while developing and implementing opportunities for all students to participate in programs which enhance international student retention.

Thanks to all who have helped make iHouse a success in its first year!

"I have been living in ihouse for the past year and it has been a wonderful experience. I made a lot of friends from across the world and got the chance to try some delicious cuisines! I look forward to living here in the coming years as well. It makes me feel at home!"
