Overview

You've got the background, experience, industry certification, other aviation skills and knowledge but not the degree? The Aeronautics Degree Program is designed to put your valuable acquired experience to work for you. You may be eligible to receive advanced standing prior learning credit for what you have already accomplished, augmented by a curriculum that builds upon this foundation.

The program requirements also provide an opportunity for those students new to aviation to acquire aviation specific knowledge through aviation-related course work. This combination of aviation study, aviation courses, business, computer science, economics, humanities, communications, social science, mathematics, physical science along with development elective courses prepares you for a career in your choice of many aviation-related fields, such as avionics, air traffic control, airport management, and others.

Aviation Area of Concentration

The Aviation Area of Concentration is the degree component that allows you to select courses from various aviation-related fields. All or part of the credit needed for this degree requirement may be awarded based upon prior aviation training or experience.
