Are you interested in the science behind how planes fly? Or is your dream to one day pilot an aircraft? What about learning the ins and outs of the world of security and intelligence? There’s something for everyone at Embry-Riddle this summer. For more information on each of the following programs, please e-mail the Campus Summer Programs Office.
Flight Exploration
Are you ready to take to the skies this summer? You can get your first real flight experience in this extensive introduction to the aviation industry. Participants receive ground training in our campus facilities, fly in our C-172 Simulators, and pilot a C-172S aircraft. All flight training is conducted by certified university flight instructors. Open to high school students ages 14-18 who are U.S. Citizens.
Aerospace Engineering
Learn how aerospace engineers make the most spectacular aircraft and space craft work. This 6-day intensive overview of the aerospace engineering program is designed to demonstrate fundamental concepts of engineering in a fun, hands-on environment. Each participant will learn the science of flight, how materials stress, strain, and break, and the principles of aerospace design. Students will be introduced to a variety of fields relating to aerospace engineering through daily classes and labs. Open to high school students ages 15-18.
Computer/Electrical Engineering
For students looking for the ultimate experience in space exploration, the Computer/Electrical Engineering Summer Program consists of specifying, designing, building, flying, and collecting data from a high altitude balloon flight to near outer space. Open to high school students ages 16-18 with a strong background in math and science.

Global Security and Intelligence 'Spy' Camp
This summer immerse yourself in the world of security and intelligence with this week long program. Participants will develop surveillance skills while using tools of the trade as well as explore the practice of cryptology and the art of illusion. In this unique experience you become the spy catcher! Open to high school students ages 15-18 who are U.S. Citizens.
ERAU Athletic Camps
