Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona offers a comprehensive four-year aviation degree unsurpassed in recognition and esteem. One in four airline pilots is an Embry-Riddle alumna. Our graduates go on to become aviation industry leaders: chief pilots, heads of flight standards, corporate vice presidents, military heroes, and astronauts. We also have an Intercollegiate Flight Team, the Golden Eagles, who are eight-time national champions.
Safety is our culture
We pride ourselves on training the best pilots who can handle themselves in the worst situations. Our cross-wind trainer and simulation are resources for testing skill in less than desirable flight conditions. Our flight instructors prioritize safety and responsible flying to create an incident-free learning environment. Our training conditions are some of the best in the nation, from weather to terrain. Our fleet of Cessna 172 is serviced every 50 hours, more frequently than you'd find at an independent flight school. The Prescott Campus is also home to a new aviation safety lab, Safety and Aviation Archives, and one of the largest crash investigation labs in the nation.
