Spacecraft Attitude Control Simulator (SACS)

Aeronautical Engineering students built a cold-gas propelled attitude control simulator for their Spring 2013 Space Detail Design (AE-445) class. The main purpose of the project was to be used as a demonstration piece on Student Preview Day to inspire future projects and develop interest in the Aerospace Engineering degree program. The students used CATIA, Matlab, Simulink, ANSYS, and Fluent to design and build the simulator.
