The Departments of the College of Aviation provide a broad range of courses covering all topics aeronautical. Everything from flight to weather to aircraft safety and accident prevention are addressed by this diverse college.

Embry-Riddle Prescott boasts the best in-class university flight-training fleet as well as several simulators and other training facilities for pilots and those interested in obtaining commercial and private pilots licenses. Prescott, AZ benefits from diverse weather patterns that provide meteorology students with real-world experience in interpreting data and predicting the weather. The Robertson Aviation Safety Center is a state-of-the art crash evaluation lab that trains students to determine the cause of an accident and propose how to prevent it in the future.

Each department is chaired and staffed by highly experienced faculty members who have made aviation in all its forms the focus of their professional careers.
