Flight Training Device
Being Ready Means Being Prepared Even Before You Climb Into The Cockpit
We pride ourselves on the thorough and complete cockpit familiarity our students are able to achieve, even before they step into one of our aircraft. By having the latest technology and training tools at their disposal coupled with world-class instruction and guidance, Embry-Riddle students achieve a heightened understanding and build greater confidence in flying by having trained in some of the world’s most sophisticated flight simulators and training equipment.
Embry-Riddle’s Fleet of Training Aircraft and Simulators Sharpen Your Piloting Skills on the Ground and In the Air
Embry-Riddle Prescott’s all glass cockpit fleet empowers a training program with a diverse selection of aircraft maintained at the highest safety standard.
- Paradigm Cessna 172 Advanced Aircraft Training Device (AATD)
The Cessna Skyhawk AATD is an identical replica C172 cockpit. The state of the art AATD is surrounded with a wrap-around visual system giving our pilots the illusion of being airborne. The AATD allows our students to complete training scenarios that would be hazardous to attempt in the actual aircraft.
- CRJ-700 Level-D
Our Airline Flight Crew Techniques and Procedures course allows students to become members of a two-pilot crew tasked with the management of highly automated jet transport systems in airline-style environment. Our student teams fly in real time between cities such as New York and Washington DC in the most advanced level of jet simulator available: a CRJ-700 Level-D full-flight simulator.
