Persons with disabilities can and do succeed in their pursuit of higher education
The mission of Disability Support Services is to guide and support institutional compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act, to ensure equal access for students with disabilities.
Disability Support Services offers students who qualify, and are registered with the DSS Prescott Campus office, appropriate accommodations. To be eligible to receive services, students must request Disability Support and provide current documentation. Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University does not provide diagnostic testing but will make referrals. Students are responsible for all testing and evaluation expenses
Contact the disability support coordinator in the Wellness Center for additional information or to register.
Inquiries, consultations, and services are confidential.
Students are encouraged to contact or meet with Disability Support Services at least 6-8 weeks prior to starting their enrollment with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Additional Regulations
- Programs, such as flight, that are subject to regulation by other agencies may preclude or delay participation.
