Mingus Mountain Complex
First-year. Upper-Division, and Transfer students reside in the Mingus Mountain Complex. The First-Year Experience program is designed to help first-year students with the transition to college on academic, social, and educational levels. Staff are trained to handle first-year transitional issues.

The Mingus Mountain Complex includes five halls: Roadrunner (Hall 1), Coyote (Hall 2), Quail (Hall 3), Elk (Hall 4), and Javelina (Hall 5), all conveniently located near Earhart's Dining and a short walk from classes and the library. Suites in these halls each feature three two-person bedrooms (one bedroom may be three-person if needed to accommodate first-year student housing demands), two bathrooms, and a lounge with a kitchenette. Each bedroom comes furnished with lofted or standard beds, desks, desk chairs, dressers (Halls 1-4), and built-in closets. Hall 5 features built-in dressers. Each suite includes two shared bathrooms: Bathroom A with a single sink, toilet, shower, and Bathroom B with two sinks, toilet, and shower.

A shared lounge in each suite is furnished with a couch, love seat, and coffee table. The kitchenette is equipped with a small sink with disposal, two-burner electric stove, cabinets, microwave oven, and a three-quarter-sized refrigerator. Residents provide cooking and eating utensils. All student rooms are carpeted, and each bedroom and lounge have cable television and high-speed internet access. The bedrooms and lounge are individually climate-controlled.

Laundry facilities with EAGLEcard-operated washers and dryers are located in Roadrunner (Hall 1) and Quail (Hall 3).
