The Embry-Riddle Prescott Campus was one of a handful of U.S. locations selected to participate in a live question-and-answer session connecting select students from the Prescott tri-city area with the ISS astronauts. Local teachers and students participated in NASA education activities and developed space-themed questions to ask the crew.
Learning opportunities with NASA staff via video-conference
Take your students on a virtual field trip led by NASA scientists at a NASA space center. NASA's Digital Learning Network (DLN) links teachers and students with NASA to leverage the unique content, facilities and personnel of NASA centers. THE DLN programs provide professional development for teachers and interactive learning experiences for students of at pre-college and university levels.
Choose from 47 DLN events presented live, free and when you choose (must be scheduled a minimum of 30 days in advance). The presentations take place at the NASA ERC at Embry-Riddle in Prescott.
Browse the Digital Learning Network site by grade level, subject matter, standards or keyword search. Choose an event you're interested in participating in, then contact the Education Resource Center to schedule a customized visit including pre/post DLN activities and/or a campus tour for your class.
